Tessellate was founded by two investors with nearly 15 years of combined experience at leading mid and large-cap private equity firms, including the leading private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R). We are seasoned investors with strong execution and value creation skills, having learnt directly from industry-leading investors and operators and exceptional entrepreneurs.
We bring deep experience in building founder-led B2B services businesses, from acquisition-led growth and buy-and-build strategies to operational support and effective governance. This is the practical foundation behind how we partner with entrepreneurs today.
Satnam is the Co-Founder of Tessellate and has over a decade of investing and advisory experience across private equity and investment banking. Before co-founding Tessellate, he spent eight years at CD&R — a global, leading private equity firm — where he played a key role in the following investments including Morrisons (UK grocery retail), Westbury Street Holdings (UK Soft FM), Wolseley (UK B2B distribution) and UDG Pharma (global pharma services). Satnam began his career in investment banking at Credit Suisse and holds an MSc. in Mathematics from Imperial College London.
